This iconic campaign created by Contrapunto BBDO in the early 80s was and still is a total success. It is part of our lives and we use this expression that everyone recognises.

ECI launched its first sales in January 1940.

Linking the sales to the good weather or the way to the good weather is a good thing in itself.

It is the time of the year when our minds, once winter is over, are more prone to shopping.

And the real estate world is no exception.

There are several aspects that determine the market launch of a development but, given the choice, all developers prefer to launch in spring.

The effects are obvious.

If you want to go out at that time of the year, you have to plan your promotional campaign to make it possible.

There are several players involved and doing it in good time pays off.

Let’s do the planning exercise in reverse, thinking that you want to go out on 15 May. That forces you to:

  1. Have your social media publications ready 10 days before > 5 May.
  2. Have paper brochures ready (some prefer them to pdfs) also by that date but if you want to print, you will need at least 15 more days > 20 April.
  3. If you want to have room for error correction, 10 more days > 10th April.
  4. To make a quality presentation, the images and/or video will need between 1 and 2 months of execution. That brings us to 10 January.
  5. Before or almost at the same time, the project and the qualities must be defined. One more month > December 10th.
    You must take into account when you must have the Licence to start marketing. This is the most difficult factor to plan.

But as you can see, to do things well and in time, to reach the 15th of May, you should start the process at the beginning of December.

Almost 5 months before

If you don’t do it this way, everything gets unintentionally complicated.

Fortunately, although everyone would ideally like to go out on those dates, it is not always possible. That’s why we only do 6 projects a year.
